Conclusion
Congratulations! You have almost completed your WebQuest. The final component of this webquest involves a project that you are going to do at home with your family. At home tonight, discuss with your family what you have learned today about the ocean: its ecosystem, geography, how people are polluting the ocean, and what will happen if we continue to destroy the ocean. Now that you understand the perils of destroying the ocean and its ecosystem, explain to your parents that it is necessary to take action to prevent the destruction of the ocean! Sit down with your family and develop a list of things and a "game plan" that your family will commit to in order to save the ocean. Will you change your eating habits? Will you change the manner in which you dispose of trash and recycle? Will you write letters to large companies campaigning against the polluting of the ocean? Please have your family plan ready in three days so that we can discuss them in class.
